How to edit a proposal after sending

Changes to a sent proposal don't create a new link, the client sees the update live.

MyProposal lets you edit a proposal even after it's been sent. The client's link stays the same, they see your changes the next time they open it.

Warning

If a proposal has already been signed, editing it doesn't affect the legally recorded signature. The signed content is locked.

Making edits

Open the proposal from the Proposals list and make your changes in the editor. Auto-save captures everything within 300ms of your last keystroke.

Notifying your client

Editing a sent proposal doesn't automatically notify the client. If the changes are significant, use the Send button again to fire a fresh email, the link remains the same but the email serves as a nudge.

Version history

Full version history is on the roadmap for Studio plan users. For now, duplicating the proposal before making major edits is the safest way to preserve the original.
