How the partner program actually works

What's the commission rate?
Up to 20% of the subscription price, paid every month for the entire lifetime of the customer. You control the split between your buyer's discount and your commission - for example 10% off for them and 10% to you, or 5% off and 15% to you. Whatever you don't give as a discount, you keep.
When and how do I get paid?
We pay out automatically the moment your approved balance crosses $50. Payments go out via bank transfer or PayPal - your choice when you sign up - usually within 5 business days of clearing the threshold.
Why is there a 30-day hold on commissions?
Commissions are held for 30 days to cover refunds. If a customer cancels and gets a refund inside that window, the commission is reversed. After 30 clean days the commission moves to your approved balance and counts toward your next payout.
How long do referral cookies last?
30 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up to My Proposal within 30 days, you get credited - even if they don't start a paid subscription immediately. The credit attaches to their account, so when they upgrade later you still earn.
Can I run multiple links with different splits?
Yes. Create as many referral links as you want - one per channel, campaign or audience - each with its own discount/commission split. A/B test until you find what your audience actually clicks on.
Do I need a big audience to qualify?
No. We approve partners based on fit, not follower count. A 500-person newsletter that genuinely serves freelancers is more valuable to us than a 100k-follower account that doesn't match. Tell us about your audience in the application and we'll get back to you within 2 business days.
