The Investment section of your proposal is where you specify what you're charging. MyProposal supports three pricing types and optional add-ons.
Adding a line item
Click in the Investment section on the canvas, then click + Add item. A new row appears with fields for name, description, quantity, unit, and price.
Pricing types
- One-time, a flat fee billed once (discovery, design, build).
- Monthly, a recurring fee shown as ×/mo (retainers, subscriptions).
- Recurring, same as monthly but labelled differently for flexibility.
Required vs. optional items
Toggle the Required switch on each line item. Optional items are shown with a checkbox your client can toggle on the live proposal, the total updates live when they add or remove them.
Optional items are a great way to surface upsells without making the base price feel high. "Add photography direction (+$4,500)" is a much softer ask than quoting it upfront.
Auto-save
Line item changes auto-save 800ms after your last edit. You'll see a "Saved" indicator next to the Investment heading.
