Privacy Policy
This policy describes how My Proposal collects, uses and protects the personal data of users and their clients.
1. Who we are
My Proposal, Inc. ("My Proposal", "we", "us") operates the proposal platform at myproposal.app. We are the data controller for personal data processed under this policy. Questions? Email us at privacy@myproposal.app.
2. Data we collect
When you use My Proposal we collect: Account & identity data, name, email address, profile photo (if you sign up via Google OAuth), and password (stored as a secure hash via Supabase Auth, never in plain text). Proposal data, content you create, including client names, email addresses, line items, and uploaded images or videos you attach to proposals. Usage & analytics data, pages visited, features used, time on page, and proposal view events (section-level analytics). We use this data to improve the product and provide you with engagement insights. Payment & billing data, billing email, subscription plan, and card last-four digits / card brand (provided by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers). Technical data, IP address, browser type, device type, and cookies necessary for authentication and security.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to: • Provide, operate and improve the My Proposal platform. • Send transactional emails (proposal links, signature confirmations, invite notifications) via Resend. • Process subscription payments and issue invoices via Green Invoice / Morning API. • Display analytics inside your dashboard so you can track proposal engagement. • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents. • Comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your proposal content to train machine learning models.
4. Third-party processors
We share data with the following sub-processors to operate the service: • Supabase (infrastructure, database, authentication, file storage), EU/US data centres. • Resend (transactional email delivery). • Green Invoice / Morning API (payment processing and invoice generation for subscription billing). • Vercel (application hosting and CDN). Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement and processes data only as directed by us.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary session cookies for authentication (set by Supabase Auth). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from logging in.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Proposal content is retained until you delete it or close your account. After account closure we delete all personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. invoice records, which are retained for seven years in accordance with Israeli accounting law and EU VAT regulations).
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction you have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you. • Correct inaccurate data. • Request deletion ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention requirements. • Object to or restrict certain processing. • Receive your data in a portable format. • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is consent-based). • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. 8. Security
We protect your data using AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, row-level security (RLS) enforced at the database layer, and regular access reviews. See our Security page for details.
9. Children
My Proposal is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete that data promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the application at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Effective date" at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
