Using a custom sender email address

Send proposals from your own domain instead of @myproposal.app.

By default, proposal emails are sent from a MyProposal address. With a custom domain, emails come from proposals@yourdomain.com (or any address you configure).

Setting the sender email

A quick way to set a sender email without custom domain verification: go to Brand kit → Default sender email and enter your email address. This appears in the From field on outbound emails.

Custom domain (DNS verification)

  1. 1Go to Brand kit → Custom mail domain.
  2. 2Enter your domain (e.g. yourcompany.com).
  3. 3Add the DNS records shown to your DNS provider (typically 3 CNAME records via Resend).
  4. 4Click Verify. DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours.
