Signature audit trail & legal validity

Every view, click, and signature is timestamped and hashed. Here's how to download the full trail.

MyProposal maintains a tamper-evident audit trail for every signed proposal. You can download it as a PDF at any time.

What's in the audit trail?

  • Proposal title and ID.
  • Each time the proposal was viewed, timestamp and IP address.
  • The signing event, signer name, email, IP, timestamp.
  • A SHA-256 hash of the proposal content at signing time, so any post-signing edit is detectable.
  • The MyProposal certificate of authenticity.

Legal validity by region

  • United States, compliant with ESIGN Act (2000) and UETA.
  • European Union, compliant with eIDAS Regulation as a Simple Electronic Signature (SES). For Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES), contact us.
  • United Kingdom, compliant with the Electronic Communications Act 2000.
  • Australia, compliant with the Electronic Transactions Act 1999.

MyProposal signatures are not suitable for deeds, wills, real estate conveyances, or contracts requiring a notary in your jurisdiction. For these use cases, consult a lawyer.
